Philanthropy is defined as “a sustained strategic investment seeking to create real change.” This is vividly demonstrated in the Philippines, where more than 5,000 TeleTech employees donated more than 27,000 hours to benefit children, individuals, and families in various communities—in a single day! Their projects included an art camp to give underprivileged children an outlet for their creativity, a children’s sports extravaganza designed to promote healthy living, fund drives for school supplies and enhancements to area libraries, and many others.
